As a practicing nurse of 25 years my son and I traveled from the East Coast all across the great USA for 5 years. I have lived and worked in many states. I soon felt I needed a place to call home. I began my wish list as many of you have.

1. Affordabilty: somewhere I could afford a home...

2.Jobs: What kind of jobs did the state support and what the cost of living would be.

3.And a must for us activities: Skiing, hiking, all outdoors activities.

4.Crime: we needed a low crime area somewhere safe for my child to grow and thrive. Where I could run and feel safe, walk down the streets or through the neighborhoods at anytime. Somewhere were people greeted you.

 I was amazed Idaho kept popping up so we drove from the West Coast here I looked around for two days and felt at home! I purchased a house and moved in. I love Idaho and the lifestyle here. In some places a hand shake will still do. You have city life and then on the edge you have the country. Perfect life for those who want it.
